CHARLOTTE — Nearly 150 affordable apartments are coming to Camp North End.
Joyfield Rise at Woodward will sit at the corner of Woodward and Statesville avenues.
The Metropolitan Public Transit Authority just voted to add a stop on the future Red Line. The light rail would stop right in front of Camp North End.
Neighbors in Derita and Sugar Creek said the miles-long gap between Uptown and the next north Charlotte stop was too far.
