CHARLOTTE — There are plans to build a 19-story apartment tower in SouthPark.

It will be the tallest building in the area.

Our partners with the Charlotte Business Journal report the plans also call for an office building and retail.

The tower will be built on Carnegie Boulevard, where Rooster’s is now.

There is no timeline for construction.
