No one hurt in University City car fire

CHARLOTTE — No one was hurt after a car went up in flames in University City Wednesday morning.

A car was traveling north on Interstate 85 when the blaze forced the driver to pull over near W.T. Harris Boulevard.

The car quickly became fully engulfed in flames. A North Carolina Department of Transportation camera caught the moments firefighters put out the fire.

All lanes have reopened after crews shut them down to respond.
