CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — A new school will open next week in Cabarrus County, and it will likely bring much more traffic to the area.
Odell Elementary School is at the corner of Highway 73 and Odell School Road.
The district added the school for third- through fifth-graders to handle an increase in population.
Channel 9 learned it also means an increase in traffic, especially during school drop-off and pick-up times.
