Investigators say Reyes, driving a 2010 Ford Escape, was traveling north on Runnymede Lane while Gallarday, in a 2006 Subaru, was traveling south.

Investigators said Gallarday crossed the double-yellow line and hit Reyes' car.

Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reyes was reportedly working for Uber at the time of the crash. His customer in the front seat was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.

A passenger in Gallarday's vehicle was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
