CHARLOTTE — A CMPD operation has led to more than 100 arrests and 50 guns taken off the street since January.
Operation Queen City Safe targets Uptown and South End.
Police say the goal is to reduce violent crimes and improve quality of life.
An operation on May 29 ended with 18 arrests and 12 guns and 233 grams of narcotics seized.
