Person cut fiber optic line in west Charlotte, Spectrum offers reward for help finding suspect

CHARLOTTE — Spectrum is offering a $25,000 reward for help finding the person who deliberately cut a fiber optic line in west Charlotte.

The television and internet provider called this a criminal attack that caused temporary outage for customers along West Tyvola Road.

Spectrum says this type of damage can impact how emergency services operate.

Anyone with information should call the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
