Person injured after being trapped under slabs of granite, officials say

A person was injured after being trapped under multiple slabs of granite, medical officials said.

Authorities responded about 6:07 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Westinghouse Boulevard.

The person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries, authorities said.

No other information was provided.
