MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Affluent neighborhoods in Charlotte like Myers Park and Eastover remained active areas for luxury home sales in January, but high-end residential transactions extended into other parts of Mecklenburg County as well.

The most-expensive sale in January came when a Myers Park home sold for $2.36 million late in the month. A Matthews abode, spanning more than 9,700 square feet, followed with a price tag of $1.81 million.
