PINEVILLE, N.C. — Officers are investigating what they believe was an armed robbery at Carolina Place Mall on Sunday evening.
According to the department, the speculated robbery happened at the Solitaire Jewelry Store.
Police said there were reports of possible shots fired, but later confirmed that no shots were fired and no one was injured.
The investigation is still ongoing and details are limited at this time.
