Plenty of options available for shopping in Charlotte area on Small Business Saturday

CHARLOTTE — With the rush of Black Friday over, shoppers will now flock to small businesses on Small Business Saturday.

There are plenty of options when it comes to shopping small in the Charlotte area.

From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., there will be an open-air market in NoDa that will feature small businesses, located at North Davidson Street in the NoDaHood Market.

In Kannapolis, there will be a small-business event running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on Laureate Way near Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.

In Rock Hill, the Carolina Brew Supply on Cherry Road will be hosting a Artisans Market from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. In Gastonia, there will be a small-business event from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Wheel on South York Street.

There will be a small-business pop-up market near the Carolina Place Mall all weekend.

Downtown areas in towns such as Mooresville, Waxhaw and Belmont are welcoming local shopping with deals throughout the weekend.
