MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. — Authorities are waiting on autopsy results to tell them what killed a person whose body was found in a Gaston County creek.
Two boaters found the body in Dutchman's Creek off the Catawba River just north of Highway 27. It's a popular spot for people to fish.
Police said the body is an adult male, but they haven't released his name.
They also said there are no obvious signs of trauma.
