• Police: Man stabbed while protecting woman in Rock Hill

    ROCK HILL, S.C. - Rock Hill police said a man was stabbed during a fight at a hotel overnight.

    Police said the victim was defending another woman after a stranger inappropriately touched her at the Executive Inn on North Anderson Road.

    The victim told police that man then pulled out a box cutter and stabbed him.
            
    Officers arrested Marcus Hardrick in connection with the stabbing.

    The victim is expected to be OK.
