SHELBY, N.C. — Police have charged a man with murder after a fatal shooting Sunday morning outside a Cleveland County bar.
Gavonne Craig, 43, is accused of shooting Joshua Lewis McSwain, 27, on East Marion Street near the Golden Boys Bar.

When officers got there, they said they found McSwain lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.
Cleveland County EMS transported McSwain to Atrium Health Cleveland, but he later died from his injuries.
Craig is being held without bond at the Cleveland County jail and is expected to appear in court Thursday morning.
Police have not said what led to the shooting.
