Arrest made after shooting at Rock Hill bar leaves man dead, 3 others hurt

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police said they have arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting inside a York County bar that left one man dead and three others hurt early Saturday morning.

The shooting happened just before 12:30 a.m. at the Sports Unlimited Bar and Lounge on Albright Road in Rock Hill.

When officers got to the bar, they learned four gunshot victims were taken to Piedmont Medical Center in separate cars.

Police said two men, 27 and 35 years old, were treated and are expected to be OK. One 25-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.

The fourth victim, 30-year-old Lamarcus Colvin, died from his injuries after arriving at the hospital.

Detectives were able to identify 34-year-old Shawn Durham as the suspect and warrants were taken out on him for murder, three counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a crime of violence.

On Monday, police said Durham was arrested in North Carolina with the help of U.S. Marshals.

No other information has been released.
