CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — The wife of a man sentenced for molesting children pleaded guilty Tuesday to operating an unlicensed day care center in Catawba County.
Crisoforo Casarreal-Parra of Hickory pleaded guilty to sexual offense with a child. He used his wife's day care to gain access to the victims he molested, police said.
Tonya Casarreal will spend at least six months in prison after admitting to operating the center from her home without a license.
