Nicole Ventour (D)

What is the top issue in your district and how do you plan to address it?

Affordability, high taxes, and a lack of public transportation.  I would like to ensure more affordable housing, introduce rent stabilization on landlords owning more than 3 homes, and introduce public transportation. I would also like to increase minimum wage and take pressure off small businesses.  We can do this my legalizing medicinal marijuana to bring in revenue.

What policies will you advocate for to bring down costs?

I would introduce politics to keep more monies in the pockets of working South Carolinians. We can discontinue state tax and lower the gas tax.

What should South Carolina do about data centers?

Data centers must be refunded. We need to ensure electric companies are using renewable energy and not placing higher costs on residents:

Should South Carolina expand Medicaid?

Absolutely, we need to ensure South Carolinians have access to healthcare to help ensure they can continue to be productive members of society.

What separates you from your opponent?

I care about people and want to put people first.
