Publix to open another store in Huntersville

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Publix will serve as the anchor tenant for this 60-acre Huntersville development.

Raleigh-based Magnolia Development Co. says the Lakeland, Florida-based grocer has signed on for a 48,387-square-foot store at North Creek Village.

Publix currently has 18 stores in the Charlotte market.

The grocer has received numerous requests to expand its footprint in Huntersville, says Jared Glover, spokesman.
