CHARLOTTE — Rosemont Market & Wine Bar in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood will welcome its first guests on May 15.
That venture by 1957 Hospitality Group is in the final stages before opening, with finishing touches being put on the space and the menu being finalized. The 3,500-square-foot space pairs a neighborhood gourmet market with grab-and-go breakfast and lunch options and provisions for cooking at home. Its wine bar features a chef-driven dinner menu.
“We’re running through the menu to kind of fine-tune everything, just figuring out how that store really, really flows and works,” says Blake Thompson of 1957 Hospitality. That group also owns and operates The Crunkleton and Cheat’s Cheesesteak Parlor, both in Elizabeth.
Rosemont is at 1942 E. Seventh St., part of Crescent Communities’ Elizabeth on Seventh development. Crescent is developing that project in a joint venture with Faison Enterprises.
