Roughly 30 jobs are to be cut from NASCAR Productions from its Charlotte Television Production Center.
Currently, the company employs about 180 people.
A representative says executives are dropping independent video production of non-motorsports events.
However, they are considering creating a NASCAR cable channel based in Charlotte.
