Rowan County seeks public input on future of parks, recreation

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Rowan County Parks and Recreation is asking residents to share their input as the county updates its Comprehensive Master Plan.

The plan will help guide future parks, facilities, programs, and investments, including improvements at Dan Nicholas Park.

The county wants to better understand how residents use parks and recreation facilities today and what should be prioritized in the future.

Residents are encouraged to participate even if they do not currently use Rowan County parks or recreation facilities.

The survey takes about 10 to 12 minutes to complete. Residents can take it here.
