ORANGEBURG, S.C. — South Carolina State University has a new police chief and new security measures this school year.
Starting Monday, as freshmen move in, students and employees will have to scan ID cards to enter campus, with designated entry points for students and staff.
On Friday, the university named Clyburn Halley the university Chief of Police.
