Sedan pulls out in front of Harley, causes deadly Rock Hill collision, police say

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A Kia sedan made a left turn in front of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle going the opposite way and caused a deadly collision at a Rock Hill intersection Friday, police reported.

The motorcycle was going north on North Anderson Road at about 7 p.m. when the driver of the Kia, traveling south, failed to yield while turning at the Bird Street light.

The motorcyclist died at the scene after being ejected when the bike hit the passenger side door, Rock Hill police said.

The driver of the 2015 Kia was cited for failure to yield the right of way and driving under suspension first offense.
