Self-serve taproom in South End to call it quits

A self-serve taproom in South End is calling it quits. Hoppin’ Charlotte took to social media today saying it was preparing to close its doors.

The news came after the concept teased earlier in the week that all good things come to an end.

“We’ve had plenty of fun here over the years. This is the post we never wanted to make,” Hoppin’ said.

Further details on a closing date and reason behind the closure were not immediately available.

The 4,600-square-foot taproom and bar opened at 1402 Winnifred St. in 2017.
