GASTONIA, N.C. — A convicted sex offender, Dea Williams, faces new charges after he was accused of working as a babysitter.

Williams was jailed on $100,000 bond.
Williams's status as a sex offender forbids him from supervising children.
Gastonia police said he was babysitting three children between 3 and 9 years old at his home.
