RALEIGH — The body of a 20-year-old soldier killed during training is now back home in North Carolina.
U.S. Army Private 1st Class Ethan Brewer died earlier this month in a rollover crash at Fort Hood, Texas.
Brewer enlisted in the Army in 2025 and wanted to train as a medic, arriving at Fort Hood in early 2026, WRAL reported.
Veterans and support groups joined Brewer’s family in Raleigh on Tuesday as he returned home.
His funeral is set for Friday.
