CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte will be in the national spotlight Monday night with the debut of ABC's "The Bachelorette."
Charlotte native Emily Maynard is a single mom who was engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick when he died in a plane crash.
This season of "The Bachelorette" was filmed in Charlotte at a home off Marvin Road in Ballantyne.
The show debuts on Channel 9 at 9:30 p.m.
Eyewitness News will sit down with Maynard as she shares the experience of filming the show with her daughter Monday at 11 p.m. on Channel 9.
