Student in Gaston County charged with threatening to blow up high school

DALLAS, N.C. — Officials said a North Gaston High School student was arrested after writing a threat in the school’s bathroom.

Joshua Branch is in jail under a $100,000 bond.

Arrest warrants say Branch wrote “This school is going to blow up in the month of December.”
