CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Neighbors in Peach Tree Hills were joined by a city council member and volunteers with Trees Charlotte Foundation to plant 100 trees.
The project started last year as an effort to beautify the neighborhood and will wrap up on Sunday.
For years the city of Charlotte and several organizations have been working to revitalize the neighborhood by reducing crime and rebuilding foreclosed homes.
