ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. — The murder trial of a former UNC student accused of killing three people in a drunk driving crash last summer will begin Monday.
Chandler Kania is charged with murder.

Police said he was drunk and drove the wrong way on Interstate 85 in Orange County in July of 2015.
Two women from Charlotte and a 6-year-old died in the wreck.
Last week, a judge ruled that prosecutors can use Kania's blood alcohol level and cellphone evidence in the trial.
