South Carolina state troopers are investigating after they said a man hit and killed someone walking along a busy highway Tuesday night.
The collision happened around 6:45 p.m. on Anderson Road, near Marine Drive.
Troopers identified the driver as Willie Small and said he was not hurt.
Officials identified the pedestrian as Johnny Swails, 53.
Investigators have not released any further details.
