CHESTERFOUND COUNTY, S.C. — A person was hit and killed while crossing a road in Chesterfield County early Saturday morning, troopers said.
The crash happened at around 2:10 a.m. near Mack Raley Road.
Troopers said a person had gotten out of a stopped vehicle and went to cross the road when they were struck by a car.
The victim’s identity has not been released at this point. The driver of the car was not hurt in the incident.
