Union Co. School Board member resigns following investigation

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A Union County School Board member who was under investigation for misusing taxpayer money resigned.

Marce Savage submitted her letter of resignation to the school board chairperson.

Savage was accused of double charging for reimbursement on travel expenses.

She had already resigned from the state school board in December.
