UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Crews with the North Carolina Department of Transportation are checking on the progress of roundabout construction in Union County.
Wesley Chapel Road at Potter Road has been closed since July.
Work was supposed to be finished by Sept. 1.
NCDOT sent crews Tuesday to get an update.
They hope to have the road reopened by the end of this week depending on the progress.
