CHARLOTTE — A witness says it was an attempted robbery of vape pens, according to a police report.
Isaiah Shorter, 18, was shot and killed Wednesday morning at Westerly Hills Park.
A witness told police that Shorter tried to rob 18-year-old Jayden Vigil who then allegedly shot and killed shorter. Police arrested vigil in the woods nearby. He’s now charged with first-degree murder.
