CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department charged a man with murder, breaking and entering, and kidnapping for a woman’s death in northwest Charlotte.
Police responded to Ciera Nichole Court off Valleydale Road on Thursday.
Officer said they found the victim, Shalonda Hood, inside a home.
CMPD arrested Anthony Hood on Sunday.
Neighbors told Channel 9 at the time, the incident may have been between a mother and son, but police have not confirmed that yet.
