Wells Fargo delays employees return to office due to delta variant concerns

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Concern about the delta variant is keeping some of uptown Charlotte’s top businesses from having all employees return to the office.

Before the pandemic hit, about 120,00 people worked uptown. COVID-19 changed that, and it won’t be changing back as as some might think.

On Thursday, Wells Fargo joined the list of companies saying they will delay a return to their offices.
