YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A woman was killed when she crashed Saturday night in York County, troopers said.
Tempest Evans, 21, of Chester, crashed around 7:40 p.m. on Highway 321 near Bryson Park.
Officials said she drove off the left side of the roadway and hit a ditch and then an embankment. The car flipped, and Evans was thrown out of the vehicle. She was not wearing a seat belt.
The county coroner confirmed she died at the scene.
