CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Firefighters believe someone intentionally set fire to Slayton Computers in North Charlotte.
Officials said this started as a break-in on Reagen Drive Sunday night.
Officials said someone trying to steal computers may have set the fire to cover their tracks. There are computers and equipment missing.
The owner of the store said it is no longer a usable facility. There is extensive damage to the building. The ceiling collapsed and fire crews had to break in windows to put out the fire.
The First Red Branch Missionary Baptist Church next door had minor smoke damage.
