BERLIN — A widower in Germany was shocked to find his lost wedding ring embedded in a carrot he picked in his garden.
According to German broadcaster WDR, the 82-year-old man lost his ring in his garden years ago. His wife told him it would turn up someday.
Six months ago, she passed away, and shortly after, he plucked this carrot from his garden with ring wrapped around it.
The Associated Press reports the man just celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary.
