UPS drivers nationwide will pause during their routes Monday evening to observe a moment of silence for a driver killed Thursday during a police shootout in South Florida.
"If you see a UPS truck stopped at 5 p.m. Eastern time today with the four-way flashers on it is because they will be offering a moment of silence to remember and honor Frank Ordonez, the driver killed in Florida last week," according to a Facebook post.
In addition to Ordonez, Richard "Rick" Cutshaw, 70, a union representative from Pembroke Pines, died in the crossfire, the Herald reported.
UPS drivers will be parking their trucks and turning on their four-way flashers to remember the fallen UPS driver, according to a tweet from his union chapter, Teamsters Local 769.
