CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Some Verizon Wireless customers in North Carolina experienced problems with their cell phones and internet Saturday night.
"We experienced an outage which affected a small number of customers for a brief period of time this evening," said Verizon Wireless representative Karen Schulz.
Verizon Wireless' technical support said people in Charlotte, Concord, Gastonia and Huntersville were all affected by the outages.
The company told Eyewitness News that it appeared to have been caused be an equipment outage.
Schulz said full service was restored late Saturday night.
