FORECAST:
- We are continuing to track on-and-off light showers this evening.
- This is expected to continue tonight as a slow-moving cold front pushes through our area.
- A few heavier showers and maybe a rumble of thunder will be around for the morning commute, mostly around and east of Charlotte.
- Once that final batch of rain clears, we’re looking at beautiful fall weather starting Friday afternoon and through the weekend.
- The humidity comes back down, and temperatures will top off in the 60s for the weekend.
