- More great weather is on the way for the rest of the week.
- Cool temps this morning will warm nicely to near 80 degrees this afternoon.
- Highs then warm to the low to mid 80s for the remainder of the week.
Tracking the Tropics
- Tropical depression #9 will get upgraded to Tropical Storm Isaias this morning in the southern gulf which should then become our first hurricane of the season (latest first hurricane since 1966!)
- The storm tracks into the central gulf coast by Friday night.
- This will throw rain our way for the second half of the weekend which could add up to several inches in spots.
- No major impacts are expected, but there will be a low flooding risk out west into the mountains along with a very low tornado threat.
- More to come on details the next several days.
We have a lot to watch with #Isaias. The storm itself stays west of the Carolinas, BUT impacts will be weighted on the east side.

That means heavy rain threats and even a low tornado risk will get close. The biggest impacts stay out west, but it bears watching. More to come. pic.twitter.com/XkU2437Aqw
