First up, is Davis General Store near Huntersville.

Walk into Davis General Store and you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back to the early 1900s.

Opened in 1908 and built from red brick made from local clay dug on site, this designated historic landmark is remarkably well-preserved.

Today, its operated by Silas Davis, a grandson of co-founder S.W. Davis.

Drop by for a visit and grab a cold Cheerwine or Blenheim Ginger Ale and Moon Pie.

You’ll also find work boots, seed, Carhartt apparel, cast iron cookware, feed and locally made treats for sale.

Fun fact: Cinemax filmed scenes for the series "Banshee" outside the store.
