• Fun happens at Charlotte Spring Fair

    Cruise on a coaster, grab a turkey leg, check out the petting zoo, and enjoy performances from the Aguiar Family Thrill Show and more at the 2019 Charlotte Spring Fair, happening through Sunday.

    This year, the fair has moved down the street to a larger location at 6558 Bruton Smith Blvd., near Charlotte Motor Speedway.

    Admission cost $8 for ages 12 and up and $5 for kids ages 5-11. Children under age 4 are admitted free.

    Admission includes shows and petting zoo. Midway rides cost extra. Ride tickets are available in a variety of purchase options:

    1 ticket - $1.50

    20 tickets - $25

    50 tickets - $50 (includes one free ride)

    A wristband for unlimited rides cost $25 and is valid for the entire day of purchase until close.

    Parking cost $5.

    Save on admission on $2 Tuesday, March 19. Bring in a can or bag of pet food, or a leash or pet toy to benefit a local animal shelter and admission will cost only $2. Wristbands for unlimited rides will also be discounted to $15 with a donation.

    On Thrifty Thursday, March 21, admission will cost only $5 and wristbands for unlimited rides will also be discounted to $15.

    Fair hours: are from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
