Krispy Kreme celebrates birthday with special doughnut, deal

Birthdays are usually filled with sweet indulgences but when Krispy Kreme celebrates its 82nd, we’re all in for a special treat.

This week at participating shops, customers can purchase the “Birthday Batter” doughnut -- an original glazed doughnut filled with birthday cake batter, dipped in strawberry icing and topped with party sprinkles.

Then on Friday, anyone who purchases one dozen doughnuts (of any variety) can get one dozen original glazed doughnuts for just $1.
