The Carolina coast will be dealing with some damage from Hurricane Dorian, but nothing like the devastation left behind in the Bahamas.

It will be a long recovery, but already, Boone-based Samaritan's Purse is stepping in to help.
Officials said 30 tons of critical relief supplies including clean water, shelter and food have already been delivered to the group's base in Nassau, Bahamas.
"Many people have families in these areas, don't know where they are," Bev Kauffeldt from Samaritan's Purse said. "They want to get food to them, and they can't. We want to get to them. Please pray for these people to help them to get through this."
