FORT MILL, S.C. — The South Carolina Strawberry Festival will be May 3 and 4. vents include free outdoor concerts with the Strawberry Jam. There will be a variety of vendors, a kids zone and activities and meet-and-greet with Super Berry and the 2013 Strawberry Queens.
The event will run 6 – 11 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday. It's the fourth year for the festival and it will be at Walter Y. Elisha Park.

Saturday will have an all-you-can-eat strawberry pancake breakfast at the Peach Stand starting at 8 a.m. with the main festival opening at 10 a.m. Saturday will hold ice cream- and shortcake-eating contests, a recipe contest and car show in addition to the vendors and kid-friendly activities.
Fireworks will end the festival at 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
The Strawberry Festival was named as South Carolina's Event of the Year for 2011.
The Strawberry Festival will have family-friendly fun and entertainment during the second Strawberry Pick-n-Flick from 6 – 10 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Springs Farm on Springfield Parkway, across from Nation Ford High School.
Guests will be treated to discount pricing on pick-your-own strawberries ($2 per pound).
Local DJ Michael Winchester will be on hand to entertain and local vendors will be serving up your favorite food and desserts. We'll have a variety of family-friendly activities, such as cow train rides, contests, games, and more. The evening will cap off with a free movie, "Surf's Up," on the big screen starting at dusk.
