ATLANTIC BEACH, N.C. — Hurricane Dorian is finally moving away from the North Carolina coast and while it moves away, we are only beginning to see the damage left behind.
Channel 9 crews said they saw chunks of roofing materials, nails and boards scattered everywhere from the hurricane force winds that blew through early Friday morning.
They also reported widespread flooding from heavy rain.
